Happy  Pride & Prejudice  Vinyl 💿 Release Day! The wait is now over, the long-awaited P&P OST on Vinyl (in multiple colors) is out today and if you pre-ordered your copy last May, your copy should be arriving anytime today! Focus Features  has announced today that along with Working Title Films , they are adapting a big screen adaptation of Jane Austen ’s Sense And Sensibility starring Daisy Edgar Jones  (see her photo above courtesy of her and Focus Features via IG) as Elinor Dashwood ! As the 2005  Pride & Prejudice  film's  Soundtrack on Vinyl  makes its long-awaited release (and is  now available to pre-order ) this week, on Friday ( June 27, 2025 ), Barnes & Noble is releasing an exclusive periwinkle vinyl  version along with the standard 20th anniversary deluxe edition vinyl LP ! Today marks the one year anniversary of  Donald Sutherland 's passing. May he rest in peace. He will always be known to us as the Bennet family patriarch (aka the OG girl Dad of 5),  Mr. Bennet . We loved and missed him. Most ardently. 

The full cast has been revealed, according to BBC , for the upcoming BBC and BritBox ten part-series  The Other Bennet Sister   (starring Ella Bruccoleri ), which   is a fresh spin around the ballroom for one of Jane Austen’s most unassuming characters:  Mary Bennet ! Finally, our beloved elder Bennet sisters ,  Elizabeth and Jane officially reunited !!  Keira Knightley , and  Rosamund Pike  were invited by Vanity Fair in their Reunited Series to reunite and do a one-on-one interview of each other after working together in Pride & Prejudice  (2005) film twenty years ago. They previously reunited in public (after so long, though it was mostly a rumor from the Toronto Film Festival where they were seen at an after-party years ago, but unfortunately no photos together) a few months ago, last March at their shared stylist Leith Clark's event. Celebrating a birthday today ( June 3rd ) is  Olivier Award winner  and  Downton Abbey 's Dame   Penelope Wilton   ( co-stars as   Isobel Crawley ), best known to us  P&P movie fans  as  Mrs. Gardiner ,  Elizabeth Bennet 's favorite  aunt  in the   Pride & Prejudice  (2005) film . She also played  Tom Hollander 's mother in  Wives and Daughters  mini-series and co-starred with  Rosamund Pike  in  W&D  too as well as with her good friend  Judi Dench  in  Iris  and  The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel / The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel  films. Plus, she co-starred with  Matthew Macfadyen  in Netflix’s  Operation Mincemeat .  Miss Wilton  turns  79 years  young today! Happy Birthday Penelope Wilton! Focus Features has released the teaser trailer for  Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale   with most of the original cast returning including   Penelope Wilton  as   Isobel Crawley  (aka  Lady Merton ). I previously posted last March about a  Pride & Prejudice  (2005) -  20th Anniversary Cinema Re-Release screenings at Chatsworth House (aka Pemberley , Mr. Darcy 's estate in P&P movie ) this month of June ( 13 & 14 ) and the two screenings for P&P movie were both SOLD OUT !  Also, Chatsworth is celebrating Jane Austen's 250th Birthday  with Regency themed entertainment including a  Pride & Prejudice screenings   in celebration of the film's 20th anniversary and Chatsworth House being immortalized as Pemberley in the film  and a Summer Pride & Prejudice Ball .  Read more info. about the following Austen 250 events at Chatsworth  and more P&P 20th Anniversary Cinema Screenings in the UK below...
