Pride and Prejudice Quotes from Novel to Film (Chapter 5)

Continuing from my previous posts (Chapter 1, Chapter 3, and Chapter 4) and going into Chapter 5, which interestingly...only one line that was similar in both novel and film (as in part of the same scene with the Bennet sisters' conversation under their bed covers in the movie).

Pride and Prejudice - Chapter 5

Novel

``That is very true,'' replied Elizabeth, ``and I could easily forgive his pride, if he had not mortified mine.''

Pride & Prejudice (2005) film

Movie Script

"Mr. Darcy? I could more easily forgive his vanity had he not wounded mine. But no matter. I doubt we shall ever speak again." (Elizabeth Bennet)
