The Many Faces of Elizabeth Bennet (Part 2)

As you all wait for my third and last interview/Q&A with Bonnie Mae (the writer/producer/director of the new P&P movie to be film in Colorado in June), I thought...wow, I haven't updated the Many Faces of Darcy and Many Faces of Elizabeth Bennet, which I've posted back about two years ago or so. So, with all the excitement of the new modern P&P adaptation that Bonnie will be directing and filming soon and the surprised announcement that Natalie Portman is not only producing but will also be starring in a film adaptation of last year's released novel titled, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (a P&P parody)...I thought I'd update it here...starting with the additions of the following actresses who just played, just cast, or about to be playing the iconic character/role of...

FYI: P&P '05's Talulah Riley (Mary Bennet) and P&P '95's (Mr. Darcy) co-starred with Gemma Arterton in last year's St. Trinians film. Also, P&P '05's Rupert Friend (Mr. Wickham) is currently co-starring with Gemma in the stage play,   currently playing in the Garrick Theatre through April 10th.

Updated 11/16/10 Natalie Portman is no longer attached to star in this film, but she's still on board to produced it. A new director (Mike White) has just been announced, and hopefully, a female lead will be cast and announced soon! Stay tune! I'll update this post as soon as an actress is cast in the Elizabeth Bennet role.

Also...additional info from Wikipedia:
It was reported on December 11, 2009 that the film adaptation will be financed and distributed through Lionsgate. It was also reported that Natalie Portman will produce the film and star in the lead role.
In May 2010, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Graphic Novel will be published by Del Rey / Random House, with acclaimed comic writer Tony Lee adapting the text and art by Cliff Richards.

FYI: P&P '05's own Keira Knightley (Elizabeth Bennet) and Natalie Portman both appeared in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace where Keira appeared uncredited as Natalie's Queen Amidala's decoy...

[Trivia: In scenes where Padme and Queen Amidala appear together, Natalie Portman is Padme, while Keira Knightley is Sabe, one of the handmaidens disguised as the Queen.]
