Watch: The French teaser trailer for 'Chinese Puzzle' starring Romain Duris and Kelly Reilly

As previously posted here late last December (2012), Kelly Reilly is reprising her Wendy role for the third time that she had started from L'Auberge Espagnole (2002) (aka The Spanish Apartment). The title of the new film is Chinese Puzzle (Casse Tête Chinois), the follow up and third installment to French director Cédric Klapisch's trilogy, which started in  L'Auberge Espagnole (2002) and Russian Dolls (2005). Chinese Puzzle will be released in Cinema in France on December 4th and in early 2014 in the U.S.
Chinese Puzzle synopsis: Xavier (Romain Duris) is 40. Father of a family, he still finds his life very complicated. As Wendy (Kelly Reilly), the mother of his 2 children, moves to New York City, Xavier cannot imagine living far away from the kids. So he decides to go there too and will face a real Chinese puzzle…
Just recently, Variety reported that Chinese Puzzle gets a U.S. Distribution
Cohen Media Group has acquired all U.S. release rights to “Chinese Puzzle,” the third film in writer-director Cedric Klapisch’s “Spanish Apartment” series.
The romantic comedy-drama, which stars Audrey Tautou, Romain Duris and Kelly Reilly, will be released theatrically in early 2014.

In addition to Duris, Tautou and Reilly, recurring stars in all three films include Cecile de France and Kevin Bishop.

“Puzzle” is shot in New York and largely in English.

“Spanish Apartment” grossed $31 million worldwide, including $3.8 million Stateside when it was released by Fox Searchlight. “Dolls” grossed $23.7 million and was distributed by IFC in the U.S. Read full Variety article.
