New P&P (2010) Movie News Update: Actor cast for Bingley, title and synopsis revealed, and more!
Here's a new update for the new modern Pride and Prejudice (2010) adaptation starring Maia Petee (as Elizabeth Bennet) and Caleb Grusing (as Mr. Darcy) I've been posting here since the last 2 weeks or so.
You read all of them here first! Special thanks to Bonnie Mae (as always) for sending all the info she sent here for this film.
I now have the title, synopsis, and tagline for this movie as well as the actor cast for Mr. Bingley and some houses/mansions that will be used for the movie for the Lion and the Rose (Bed and Breakfast) and Lady Catherine's mansion (interior and exterior). No Mr. Darcy castle/mansion or Bennets house photos yet, but I'll post them as soon as they are available to post here.
Up first, is the announcement of the actor who is cast and will be playing Charles Bingley. Last Saturday, there was an audition/callback for Bingley and Bonnie had a difficult time deciding between the last two actors that were her top 2 pick (I don't blame her, they were both very good looking, lol)...so, without further ado...
The actor cast as Mr. Bingley is...
Next, the P&P houses/mansions...
And lastly, here are the title, synopsis, and tagline for this film...

"Pride and Prejudice"
A modern day tale of first Impressions
Synopsis: Pride and Prejudice
"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife and with that knowledge a mother of five single girls will do anything in her power to get that man to marry one of them. Pride and Prejudice follows Elizabeth (Maia Petee) and her oldest sister Jane Bennet (Christina LaFon) through trial and error of first impressions, timeless proposals, mistaken opinions and true love. When Jane meets the new eligible bachelor Mr. Bingley (Mark Mook), she falls head over heels until he suddenly leaves town unexpectedly with his friend Mr. Darcy (Caleb Grusing). While Elizabeth consults her sister she finds herself intertwined in the reasons behind Mr. Bingley's departure, a new found friend Mr. Wickham (James Hawthorn), prejudices and a possibilities of finding love herself.”
