Carey Mulligan (looking stunningly gorgeous in a romantic white and royal blue dress that was reportedly from The Row's autumn/winter 2026 collection. The Row was founded in 2005 by the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley!) attended the 78th annual prime time Emmy Awards in LA last Monday night (September 14, 2026) and she made her Emmy debut as a double nominee. Her recent Netflix's Beef (Season 2) series received a total of 16 Primetime Emmy nominations including two nods for Carey. She's nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series and for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series (as one of the executive producers of the series’ season 2)! Unfortunately, Carey and her co-stars lost the acting nods they received and their series only won 3 Creative Emmys out of 16 nominations. Well, better win 3 Emmy awards than none, right?

Happy Birthday Rosamund Pike!

Today ( January 27th ) is the lovely and ethereally beautiful,  Golden Globe ,  BAFTA , Academy Award nominee  for  Best Actress  (for her outstanding performance as  Amy Dunne  in  Gone Girl ) and Emmy Award winner  Rosamund Pike  (aka  Pride & Prejudice 2005 's very own  Jane Bennet )'s  42nd Birthday ! Or is it?!?! Miss Pike herself just posted on her official Instagram page that today is her internet birthday (and somewhat not her real birthday)! Well, color me surprised (much like her P&P co-star Rupert Friend’s birthday confusion...) as I’ve been celebrating her birthday on this day for years, lol. I blame her IMDB and Wiki pages for not providing her real birthdate, if her actual birthday is, in fact not today!
