Matthew Macfadyen to join a Q&A Session post-screening of 'The Miniature Wife' at MIPCOM 2025 Cannes Opening Night

According to Format Biz, MIPCOM 2025 and Sony Pictures Television will present the world premiere of The Miniature Wife starring Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen with an exclusive buyers’ screening on the market’s opening night, Monday 13 October at 6:00 PM at the Palais des Festivals. 

After the screening, cast members Matthew Macfadyen, OTFagbenle, and Sian Clifford will join a live Q&A session. Produced by Media Res (The Morning Show, Pachinko), this high-concept dramedy stars Elizabeth Banks and Matthew Macfadyen in a story where a technological mishap shrinks the wife to miniature size, upending their marriage and power dynamics. Created by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner (Boardwalk Empire, Goliath) and directed in the first two episodes by Greg Mottola (Superbad), the series will premiere in the U.S. on Peacock in 2026.
