Tamzin Merchant celebrates Pride and Prejudice novel's 212th anniversary at the Jane Austen's House Museum!

Tamzin Merchant (aka Pride & Prejudice 2005's very own Miss Georgiana Darcy) celebrated the 212th anniversary of Jane Austen's timeless masterpiece, Pride and Prejudice novel at the Jane Austen House Museum in Chawton, Hampshire (UK) yesterday, January 28th.

She shared on her Instagram page (see below) some photos (including one above) from her magical tour of the house and was interviewed by BBC Breakfast. Check out her IG post below...

'Pride & Prejudice Country' Pride & Prejudice (2005) film stars Keira Knightley , Matthew Macfadyen , Brenda Blethyn , Donald Sutherland , Tom Hollander , Rosamund Pike , Jena Malone , and Judi Dench . Travel to destinations featured in Pride & Prejudice Movies are often an inspiration for travelers, especially when the location is as beautiful as the English countryside. The fact that the East Midlands region of England was used extensively for location filming for Pride and Prejudice is especially fitting given that Jane Austen drew on the Derbyshire landscape for some of her most descriptive passages in the novel.
