New Pride and Prejudice inspired and related movies (Unleashing Mr. Darcy, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and Bridget Jones's Baby) to see in 2016!

Three new upcoming TV movie and films, inspired of and related to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice are going to be released on TV (Hallmark) and in US Theaters/UK Cinemas whether P&P/Austen fans like them or not. I'll say, a true P&P Fan will watch every adaptation, variations, or inspired of versions of Pride and Prejudice and be open-minded about it/them (or in this case, them...as 3 of them are going to be released this year) whether one likes them or not. For me, I watched them all (well, most of them. See all my , minus these 3 new movies, for now...) as I love watching different versions or interpretations of my favorite P&P characters (especially Elizabeth & Darcy) on screen (big or small). Also, with these new movies related to P&P, it keeps Austen's P&P characters and novel alive. After all, Pride and Prejudice novel is not just a classic masterpiece and almost 203 years old (it turns 203 years this month, January 28th) for nothing, right?

Having said that, which of these three upcoming P&P related movies are you most excited and looking forward to seeing this year?

I will most definitely watch all 3 of them (and will post my reviews of them here as well), but I'm most excited and looking forward to seeing Bridget Jones's Baby starring Renée Zellweger, , and Patrick Dempsey as I've seen the previous 2 BJ movies (Bridget Jones's Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason) and loved them (I own both movies on DVDs!!). The addition of Patrick "McDreamy" Dempsey for this new movie got me even more excited. September 16th can't come fast enough!

But first, later this month, I'm going to watch Unleashing Mr. Darcy starring because why not? I get to watch it for free on TV (Hallmark Channel) and I love watching romantic movies on Hallmark. Not too mention, Mr. Darcy's a hottie in this movie, who wouldn't want to see him, right? Next, I'm curious to see Pride and Prejudice and Zombies film starring , , Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth, Jack Huston and Matt Smith. I'll watch the movie first before I judge or rather critique this movie if its good or not (or if I like it or not)...

About Unleashing Mr. Darcy

In this modern day spin on “Pride & Prejudice,” Elizabeth Scott (Cindy Busby), is fishing for direction in her life and gets the opportunity to professionally show her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in a fancy New York dog show. Dog show judge Donovan Darcy (Ryan Paevey) comes across as aristocratic and rude and a chain of misunderstandings unfold during the competition, complicating their mutual attraction. In true Jane Austen fashion, Elizabeth and Donovan begin to see the error of their ways and it turns out Mr. Darcy is far more kind and interesting than Elizabeth ever imagined.

Seth Grahame-Smith's Pride and Prejudice and Zombies film starring , , Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth, Jack Huston and Matt Smith will be released in U.S. Theaters (February 5th) and in UK Cinemas (February 11th).
