Anna Karenina scored 7 BAFTA Award Nominations!

The EE British Academy Film Awards Nominations in 2013 (BAFTA) was announced this morning and great news  Anna Karenina scored 7 BAFTA nominations (including a Rising Star Award for AK's Alicia Vikander - Vote for her!)!!!

Of course, the snub continues for Joe Wright and his Anna Karenina stars Keira Knightley, Matthew Macfadyen, and Jude Law for the acting categories and even for directing for Joe Wright himself...but I'm not surprise that they didn't get nominated especially Keira (if they didn't nominate her for P&P, one of her best performances that earned her a well-deserved Golden Globe and Oscar nominations, I'm not surprise they didn't nominate her on this one...but it's unfair for them to overlooked Joe, Matthew, and Jude Law and other AK actors for directing and acting categories). Still, it's very nice that they didn't ignore her movie and AK crew (ie. Dario Marianelli, Sarah Greenwood, Katie Spencer, Seamus McGarvey, and Jacqueline Durran ) who worked on its brilliant technical side that deserved to be recognized and nominated.

EE British Academy Film Awards which will take place on Sunday 10 February at London's Royal Opera House.

Congrats and best of luck to Anna Karenina and its crew for their 7 BAFTA nominations!

In other BAFTA nominations, Judi Dench (Best Supporting Actress) and her two box-office smash films  Skyfall (8) The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (1) has a total of 9 nominations!

Here are the list of BAFTA nominations for Anna Karenina, Judi Dench, Skyfall, and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel below...
