On TV Tonight: Watch the Season 2 Premiere of Emmy Award Winning Drama 'Homeland'

The 6-time Emmy Award winner (including Outstanding Drama, Outstanding Lead Actress for Claire Danes, and Outstanding Lead Actor for Damian Lewis) Homeland (Season 2) - premieres tonight at 10 PM ET/PT on Showtime. Rupert Friend has joined the ensemble cast of Claire Danes, Damain Lewis, and Mandy Patinkin recently and will be a regular in the second season of this Emmy award winning series. Season two is expected to debut in the UK in October.

I've only seen the first episode of Season 1, so I don't know much about this series. I don't have Showtime either, so I don't know if Rupert will be in the season 2 premiere episode or not as I didn't see any promo photos of him, just a glimpse him from one of the clips. Perhaps his character's introduction begins in the 2nd episode...

'Homeland' execs hints at new season two characters via Digital Spy

English actor Rupert Friend will play new CIA agent Peter Quinn. 

"[Quinn is] an ally of Estes (David Harewood) and will be introduced into Carrie and Saul's life," Gansa told Entertainment Weekly.

"It's not a potential love interest for Carrie (Claire Danes). He's more of an antagonist, actually."
