Must-See Films for 2011 for P&P Actors

The following P&P '05 actors has new films to be released starting this Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall (from January to December) of 2011.

Where are our favorite P&P actors now post P&P movie?

Looks like they are just getting more and more TV and film and stage play projects after another each year. The P&P 2005 cast (see photo above to your left) has to be the most successful (from any or previous actors who had done P&P adaptations saved for Colin Firth, who seems to be the only one from the P&P 1995 cast to be a constant success after he starred as Mr. Darcy in the popular '95 miniseries) with pretty much every actor in the main and supporting ensemble cast doing more movies after P&P movie (even then unknown Matthew Macfadyen (Mr. Darcy), Rupert Friend (Mr. Wickham), Kelly Reilly (Caroline Bingley), Tom Hollander (Mr. Collins), Claudie Blakley (Charlotte Lucas), Penelope Wilton (Mrs. Gardiner), and Tamzin Merchant (Georgiana Darcy) all have starred/co-starred/appeared in recent TV movies, TV series/miniseres, stage plays, and films...and each are getting their names mentioned and recognized more these days). The Bennet girls themselves have been rising stars (each one have done more movies after P&P) especially Carey Mulligan (Kitty Bennet), who after her debut in P&P movie, became a big star and Oscar Nominated actress for her breakout film, An Education with her other P&P co-star Rosamund Pike (Jane Bennet), whose a rising star on her own right. Just check each P&P actor's profile and filmography on P&P 2005's IMDB page and you'll see they've done more TV and film projects that were popular that you may have heard and didn't realized they were on it, unless they were the lead or co-lead stars like Keira Knightley, Matthew Macfadyen, Carey Mulligan, Rosamund Pike, Jena Malone, and Judi Dench.

Anyway, P&P alumni and main leads Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen (Elizabeth Bennet & Mr. Darcy) both have new films this year as well pretty much everyone in the supporting cast or most of their co-stars (the entire Bennet family has at least a two or more new films each even the Darcy siblings, Lady Catherine, and Mr. Collins...) and director Joe Wright!

Keira Knightley has two films (A Dangerous Method and London Boulevard ...though both are still TBD as far as theatrical release dates in the U.S. is concern) to be released this year and Matthew Macfadyen has two films (The Three Musketeer 3D and The Promise Land with another Darcy actor, Colin Firth and a made for TV Miniseries: Any Human Heart with former P&P co-star Tom Hollander, their fourth film together will premiere on PBS' Masterpiece starting February)...while their [former] P&P co-stars such as Rupert Friend (with 3 films such as 5 Days of August, Lullaby, and This Beautiful Fantastic), Carey Mulligan (with 2 films: Drive and Shame), Talulah Riley (has a cameo role in The Dilemma), Rosamund Pike (has one made for TV movie: Women In Love and  5 films such as Barney's Version, The Big Year, Burning Palms, Johnny English Reborn, and The Sea), Donald Sutherland (has 6 films too: The Eagle of the Ninth, The Mechanic, The Steal Artist, Sofia, Man on the Train, and This Side of the Looking Glass), Jena Malone (has 3 films: Sucker Punch, Jack and Diane, The Wait), Tom Hollander (Hanna with director Joe Wright), Judi Dench (Jane Eyre with , POTC: On Stranger Tides, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel with , My Night with Marilyn) and Kelly Reilly (Sherlock Holmes 2, Above Suspicion 2: The Red Dahlia) all have TBA new film releases this year.
