P&P Blog update

Ok, I've done lots of updates (in addition to my frequent posts) on this blog recently, as you may (or may not, if you're a new reader/visitor of this blog) have noticed, lol. I thought I'd update here anyway and let you all know that I've fixed/edited/updated the side bar (to your left) sections and added a few widgets and an extra page to get you all updated on the recent updates, latest additions, and slight changes to this blog.

Here's a rundown to all the latest additions/updates (read all about them and a lil' announcement after the cut)...

• Post Items Moved - I've updated this part of the Blog posts in the main page where I post news articles here in this blog and you may (or may not) have noticed that I've just moved up the post by, time, and comments link. Also, I've added the following (a few months ago or so when I changed the layout to this blog): shared buttons (to share this blog's posts by email, blog,, facebook, and google buzz), readers reactions (where you can check the boxes for funny, interesting, and cool...to any of my blog posts/articles here), and star ratings to rate any blog posts/articles here as well. just below the blog post titles. For a long time they were at the bottom of my posts and I didn't know you could actually move them up and arranged or changed them around till recently, lol...now, I know...so I thought I'd changed it up and make it easier for you to find the comments link. 
  New Additions to Left Side Bar
• Extra Page - I created and added a new page ---> Pride and Prejudice Blog Map Index - a blog map that provides links (which I've organized them by categories) to all tags I've used here for easier navigation to this blog. Check it out!
  
• Popular Posts - Just added this on blog late last week. This is based on P&P Blog's most viewed posts in the last 7 days!
• Austen Authors - Added a link for you to check out a new blog from P&P/Jane Austen genre authors (all in one site) including Sharon Lathan (published author of the The Darcy Saga series), who's my friend/P&P Blog contributor/Guest Blogger here in this blog. So, be sure to check this site/blog out as it already officially launches and have gone LIVE yesterday, Sept. 6th! They have lots of fun activities and contests that started yesterday and will continue the entire month of September to celebrate the launch of the blog as well as individual authors' book releases! 
• P&P DVD/Blu-ray section updated  
• Subscription Links - just added this (along with already added subscription via email, browse this blog in 35 languages, and search old posts)  for you to easily subscribe to this blog  feeds with popular feed readers of your choice. 
• Social Networks - added this recently with shared buttons, twitter link/updates, and facebook social plugin box (thanks a lot to all of you 350+ P&P fans who "LIKE" this blog's Devoted P&P 05 fan page on FB! I very much appreciate it and love all the fun discussions some of us have started there since it launched last June)...

Lastly, but most certainly not least, a lil' announcement from yours truly...I am taking a lil' break from this blog. No worries, I'm just going on a lil' holiday/vacation for most of this month. I need it as I haven't had one in a very long time! Though you'll hardly notice I'm gone anyway (unless, you have been following me on twitter or facebook...'cause you'll definitely notice my lil' absence in tweeting/posting there, lol) as I'll have some pre-scheduled posts (gotta love blogger!) ready to post on the dates I've scheduled them to post here for all this month. Speaking of my lil' vacation, I'm going out of the country for my first (ever) UK/European trip! Yes, I am and I will be visiting at least a few of the P&P 05 Movie Locations including that beautiful Chatsworth House (aka the infamous Mr. Darcy's Pemberley home in the pic above to your right here) and the Peak District as I'll be visiting family/in-laws in Bakewell, Derbyshire (yep, my brother-in-law's family is from there...)...

So, I'll be at Mr. Darcy's hometown for most of this month of September touring and sight-seeing the few places/scenes I've been watching in the P&P movie countless times...not too mention, celebrating P&P movie's 5 years (UK release) anniversary this month there as well. Isn't this awesome? I'm very excited and can't wait!!! I've been wanting/hoping/wishing/dreaming to visit England especially the countryside ever since I saw this movie back in 2005...and now, 5 years later,  I'm finally going to get a chance to go to this country and the filming locations for this movie I love and have been blogging about for more than 3 years...so very excited and can't wait!!! I'll be sure to take lots of pics (and will definitely look for Darcy's bust and see where it's displayed now and will take lots of pics of it...we shall see...) and share them here with you all when I get back from my trip by the end of this month.
