Keira Knightley's Duchess Trailer is now online!

Keira Knightley's "The Duchess" Trailer

The trailer for the upcoming drama "The Duchess," starring Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean), has been released. The story is a chronicle of the life of 18th century aristocrat Georgiana, duchess of Devonshire, an ancestor of Princess Diana who was alternately celebrated and reviled for her extravagant political and personal lives.

The script is written by Jeffrey Hatcher, the man behind the 2005 "Casanova." It is directed by Saul Dibb, who has limited experience in filmmaking, having only one other feature film to his credit. All the lack of ability behind the camera is more than made up for in front, by having both Oscar-nominated Knightley and Oscar-nominated Ralph Fiennes (Red Dragon) as the leads.

At this point, "The Duchess" has already been picked up by a distributor, but has not set a release date.
