P&P Romance Update: Rosamund & Joe engaged!

Wright and Pike engaged

Film couple Rosamund Pike and Joe Wright are engaged to be married, after the director proposed during a romantic break in Italy.

The pair stopped off at Lake Como, on their way to the Venice Film Festival, where Wright asked Pike to be his wife.

The couple met on the set of 2005 film Pride And Prejudice, which Wright directed and Pike starred in.

Wright announced the news to friends and family during a dinner in Venice. The couple were greeted with applause after the film maker said, "I have asked Roz to be my wife she, thank God, said yes."

They will marry next year, after finishing pending film projects.

Congrats and best wishes to Ros & Joe! Lovely couple. 8-) Let's hope when they get married that they invite their P&P family (esp. Matthew, Keira and the rest of the Bennet family, and P&P crew) to the wedding ceremony for a P&P cast reunion. :P ;D

Today ( January 27th ) is the lovely and ethereally beautiful,  Golden Globe ,  BAFTA , Academy Award nominee  for  Best Actress  (for her outstanding performance as  Amy Dunne  in  Gone Girl ) and Emmy Award winner  Rosamund Pike  (aka  Pride & Prejudice 2005 's very own  Jane Bennet )'s  42nd Birthday ! Or is it?!?! Miss Pike herself just posted on her official Instagram page that today is her internet birthday (and somewhat not her real birthday)! Well, color me surprised (much like her P&P co-star Rupert Friend’s birthday confusion...) as I’ve been celebrating her birthday on this day for years, lol. I blame her IMDB and Wiki pages for not providing her real birthdate, if her actual birthday is, in fact not today! Although there’s that one time it was listed on the 28th, but for years and even now it’s still listed as the 27th! Which is correct?  Unless, Miss Pike can clarify and correct that..for now, I’ll continue to celebrate her internet birthday today! Still,

Our P&P (2005) movie's 10th Year Anniversary event here continues... One of the many things I love about Pride & Prejudice ( 2005 ) movie is the memorable and quotable quotes (and dialogue ). I know pretty much every line/quote uttered by various characters in this movie by heart. There isn't just one to remember because there are so many unforgettable quotes and one-liners from this movie. For my Top 10 Favorite Pride & Prejudice Movie Quotes here, it was very hard to pick and just narrow it down to 10, but that's the point of making a top 10 list. I know I left out a lot, but I managed to pick 10 that I can quote instantly and love the most. Obviously, the top 2 are a fan favorite, but mine too. P&P Movie Script

I was looking through old threads over at IMDB a while back and I found a link to the P&P 2005 movie script ... from an awesome JA/P&P fanfiction related site called, Mrs. Darcy's Story Site . I've read the entire script from this site. It seemed accurate with deleted scenes included! (though there were spelling errors on some of the lines...just a lil' typo here and there)... Btw, the webmistress at Mrs. Darcy's site has added her comments to the script comparing this draft with what was actually released on film , which I thought was quite interesting (especially the deleted scenes from the movie ). It was a lot of fun to read. I thought I would keep the link and post it here (a lil' excerpt here) for those of you might be interested in reading this or have been looking for the P&P movie script/transcript online.
