Keira Knightley was seen embracing her new role as a bridesmaid in her older brother Caleb's wedding to web designer Kerry Nixon this past Easter weekend. The wedding took place Easter Sunday (April 24th) at the Pollockshields Burgh Hall in Glasgow, Scotland. Here's an article about Keira's big brother's wedding via UK's Daily Mail:
Keira Knightley plays bridesmaid at her brother's wedding ceremony
Less than a week before the Royal wedding, Keira Knightley got into the spirit by playing bridesmaid at her brother’s ceremony today.
The actress arrived at the venue in Glasgow to witness Caleb, 32, marry his designer fiancée Kerry Nixon in front of family and friends. The 26-year-old Pride and Prejudice star looked lovely in an above-the-knee purple bridesmaid dress, which tied up at the shoulders and boasted a V-neck cut.

Film Review: Hanna
I just saw Hanna recently and thought it was AWESOME! This was one of the few films I've been following and anticipating to see (obviously, I've been blogging about it and promoting it here: Hanna) since I heard one of my favorite directors Joe Wright was directing it with an outstanding and talented cast in Saoirse Ronan (leading the cast in the title role) with Eric Bana, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hollander, and Olivia Williams. This film was all that and more! It was much more than I expected and far surpasses my expectations. It definitely delivered, both the film and its actors' strong and solid performances.Check out and read part of my review of this film below!

Interesting turn of events, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies film who had its second director Mike White recently left the project, is once again, alive and back from the dead with a new director on board! After Natalie Portman left the project (even though she's no longer attached to star as the lead character Elizabeth Bennet, she's still producing this film through her handsomecharlie productions with Lionsgate distributing it) along with two directors (David O'Russell and Mike White, who was previously announced to direct this this film as I've posted here last November 2010), Lars and the Real Girl director Craig Gillespie is now officially set to Direct 'Pride And Prejudice And Zombies' (via Deadline)...
"We are so excited to have Craig Gillespie on board this film," said Alli Shearmur, Lionsgate president of Motion Picture Production. "His sensibility spans from genre-bending horror to elegant character-driven comedy, which is perfect for this movie."Also, Gillespie recently was interviewed by EW to talk about the upcoming film. Here's part of his interview...
'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' director chews over Jane Austen mash-up -- EXCLUSIVE
Jane Austen purists, eat your heart out. It’s going to happen to some of your favorite characters anyway.
Lars and the Real Girl director Craig Gillespie finalized his deal yesterday to helm the big-screen version of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, based on Seth Grahame-Smith’s bestselling fusion of Austen’s 19th century comedy of manners and romance with a nightmarish horde of flesh-eating undead. Gillespie recently wrapped a remake of the ’80s cult classic Fright Night, with Colin Farrell as the unfriendly neighborhood vampire, and plans to begin shooting P+P+Z at the end of summer.
Gillespie spoke exclusively to EW about how he plans to make zombies seem natural in the early-1800′s British countryside, and whether Austen film alums Colin Firth and Keira Knightley could make cameos…

16 Beautiful Things I love about the 2005 Pride & Prejudice film
More than five years ago, I watched my now all-time favorite film to watch multiple times: Pride & Prejudice starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen. To easily quote one of my favorites and Mr. Darcy's most memorable lines in the film, the first time I saw this film, it instantly "bewitched me body and soul," and I was hooked and have been watching it ever since! Obviously! This is why I've been blogging about this film and still do. I just love, love, love watching this film! I had been watching this film so many times (I've already lost count after 50+ on how many times...) ever since it was released in theaters that late November in 2005 and on DVD in 2006 and then on Blu-ray in 2010...and still do and love re-watching it even more so to this day. This beautiful and brilliantly breathtaking film always cheers me up no matter what mood I'm in. I just love this film a lot and must say it's my absolute favorite version (albeit I'm open to watching them all and loved and enjoyed watching other versions as well) of the many adaptations of Jane Austen's classic Pride and Prejudice that I have seen before and now after this film was released.

Casting Update on Joe Wright's 'Anna Karenina' starring Keira Knightley
The Playlist reports more casting news for Joe Wright's upcoming period film, Anna Karenina, which will begin filming later in the fall of this year.
Here are the *confirmed ones and new additions to the Anna Karenina cast list so far...
*Keira Knightley as Anna Karenina
*Jude Law as Karenin
*Aaron Johnson as Vyronski
Kelly Macdonald (unknown role)
Benedict Cumberbatch (unknown role)
It looks like both Atonement stars Saoirse Ronan and James McAvoy are still not confirmed as JW's still waiting to hear back from them...
“Keira’s confirmed, Jude Law’s confirmed, Aaron Johnson’s confirmed, Kelly Macdonald‘s confirmed, Benedict Cumberbatch is confirmed. I’m still waiting on Saorise and James,” Wright said to us though he noted, “I’m not sure about James, he recently just had a baby so [he’s busy].” (via The Playlist)Speaking of Joe Wright and Keira Knightley...IndieWire interviewed JW while promoting his new film, Hanna...he was about Anna Karenina and mentioned why he wanted to do it and work with KK again...
So why the return to period romance for your next film, “Anna Karenina”?
One doesn’t really think of genre, period or non-period; one really responds to stories and characters. That was what first drew me to “Hanna.” With “Anna Karenina,” the idea of a challenge to take on such an extraordinary work of fiction is really exciting. Tolstoy’s analysis of motivation and character is so extraordinary, it’s so kind of acute.
I also said I’d do it if Tom Stoppard wrote the script and he said yes. For me, every film is an education. To sit at the feet of the master and learn from him is an amazing opportunity for me. I also wanted to really work with Keira [Knightley] again—and in fact, a whole company of British actors. I was really enjoying the idea of doing a film that’s more about the actors than “Hanna” was about the action. Read full interview here.

Casting Rumors: Saoirse Ronan and James McAvoy to join Atonement co-star Keira Knightley in 'Anna Karenina'?
Are Joe Wright's Atonement cast (photo by Chris Jackson/Getty Images Entertainment | zimbio.com), the main trio: Keira Knightley, Saoirse Ronan and James McAvoy reuniting to star in his next period drama adaptation of Anna Karenina?
Keira Knightley, so far, is confirmed in the title role, but not Ronan and McAvoy...at least not yet. In Joe Wright's recent interview with LA Times' 24 Frames, the site noted that Saoirse Ronan, lead star of Wright’s upcoming “Hanna," may be joining the cast, but JW declined to confirm if she is or not...
