In Production: Three Jane Austen adaptations are currently filming on location in the UK!

For P&P/Austen fans who love watching any screen adaptations (with an open mind), this is great news and a win, as all 3 recently announced adaptations are currently in production (which is very rare to be happening at the same month/year) and are possibly aiming for a 2026 theatrical release or streaming premiere. It's also worth noting that it won't be a long wait to see a new P&P and Austen adaptations as all 3 are mostly likely to be release next year!

A 10 (half-hour) episodes, The Other Bennet Sister is based on Janice Hadlow’s acclaimed novel of the same name. It was published in January 2020. The series will have book characters and new ones. It is slated for 2026 premiere. The series will stream on BritBox in North America and on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in the UK.
