Votivo to launch collection inspired by ‘Anna Karenina'

According to Home Accent Today, Votivo, in partnership with Focus Features, will launch a limited edition collector's travel tin and fragranced bookmark inspired by director Joe Wright's upcoming film adaptation Anna Karenina (starring Pride & Prejudice stars Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen). This is the second collection in partnership with Focus Features promoting AK movie, Banana Republic is launching a fall collection inspired of AK as well.

Anna Karenina opens in UK Cinemas on September 7th and two months later in the US (in select theaters) November 9th (and will possibly go in wide release soon after or in the following weeks).

Votivo launches collection inspired by ‘Anna Karenina'

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Votivo, in partnership with Focus Features, will launch a limited edition collector's travel tin and fragranced bookmark inspired by director Joe Wright's new film adaptation of Anna Karenina, starring Academy Award nominee Keira Knightley and coming to theaters in November.


Created by Votivo's designers, the fragrance and packaging embody the world of the classic tale. From the dark red decorative bookmark featuring key art from the movie to the small portable travel tin candle, Votivo's Anna Karenina collection reflects 19th-century Russian high society.


Red Currant, the featured fragrance, captures the essence of Anna's passion, inner turmoil and romance with its sweet berry top notes and dark, musky undertones. The scented bookmark offers an olfactory escape into the story with every page turn. Additionally, participating retail stores will give their customers an opportunity to participate in a sweepstakes giveaway.


This holiday gift package will be sold alongside the re-release of Leo Tolstoy's beloved novel in select U.S. booksellers and retailers starting in September for a limited engagement.
