A TV BAFTA's Best Supporting Actor Nominations for Matthew Macfadyen and Tom Hollander

Pride & Prejudice (2005) film actors' Matthew Macfadyen (Mr. Darcy) and Tom Hollander (Mr. Collins) are both nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category in the 2010 BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Awards, which will be held on June 6.

BAFTA just announced its nominations and here's the same category both MM and TH were nominated for...

Supporting Actor

Benedict Cumberbatch- Small Island (BBC One)
Tom Hollander - Gracie! (BBC Four)
Gary Lewis - Mo (Channel 4)
Matthew Macfadyen - Criminal Justice (BBC One)

Congrats and good luck to Matthew Macfadyen and Tom Hollander, better known to P&P fans as  Mr. Darcy and Mr. Collins in the Oscar nominated 2005 Pride & Prejudice film! Hope they tie for the win, so we'll see a Darcy/Collins reunion during the BAFTA's award ceremony, hehe. Of course, these two wonderful actors and former P&P co-stars has co-starred/appeared in 3 films together previously (including P&P) and will be appearing in a 4tth, an upcoming miniseries, which as previously posted here: Tom Hollander to co-star with Matthew Macfadyen in Any Human Heart

Speaking of MM and TH...my favorite Darcy/Collins moment in P&P was when Darcy elbowed Collins at the Netherfield Ball scene, lol...

Mr. Collins: *clears throat* Mr. Darcy!

FYI: According to P&P director Joe Wright's P&P DVD Commentary
in this scene:
This is a gag that Matthew and Tom made up together.
I especially like the elbow there.
That's just...physical comedy at its best.
